"When I started treatment more than a year and a half ago, I was on the verge of suicide.  I was depressed and couldn't see my way.  My marriage was a mess; it seemed like all we did was fight.  I was tired of it all; working and giving everything I had to support and build up my partner, but receiving little to nothing in return.  I ended up in the hospital on suicide watch when I started seeing Roberta.  I got to where I was no longer suicidal and learned skills to manage the depression, guilt, anxiety and stress.  It has been a long journey, but over the months I came to face the reality that my marriage wasn't getting any better, no matter how much I hoped and tried.  I began to find myself again and have since reset. I learned to have healthy boundaries  and that the only person I can change is myself.  My partner and I are learning to be friends and I now have a new lease on life."  ~  45y/o learning to live and love again.
